Hot wheels

Check out this link call Hot wheels from Time Magazine. They have 9 photos of skateboarding from 1965 until now.

The picture of Tony Alva on the full pipe is just so awsome. Tony Alva is from Venice, California during the glory days of the Z-Boys and he was a part of the team. Pool skaing during that time was exploding! This was because of a drought and all the pools were ordered to be dried out by the government. The waves were down and the surfers resorted to concrete waves and pool skating was born. “Save water, drink beer instead” that quote is priceless.
The Black Pearl Skatepark in The Cayman Islands is just so tempting. Pool skating is nice because there is a endless list of lines and you can always go fast in a pool.

Ah, how I wish I was there in Cayman Island
