Things needed for fountain:

One bottle of 1.5 litre Diet Pepsi or Cola. I used Coca Cola.

Six Mentos

A place to release fountain

Unwarp six mentos from the PAPER wraping only

Keep them in the alluminium wrapper

Now open the 1.5 litre Diet Pepsi or Diet Coca Cola or any other cola avaliable and place it somewhere convinient for washing

Now let the six Mentos that are still in the alluminum wraper just slide into the bottle. Run for your life because the reaction will be instant.

I suggest you do not do it on public property like I did in my apartment swimming pool. You can be charged for something illegal I guess. And that thing shot up above SIX FEET!

Look closely at the colour of the water

Hmm, wondering what will happen underwater…..

(Yes, my father did lecture us for dirtying the pool’s water but hey, it is sugar-free and coke is  good for the skin.  :)  My mother wasn’t *looking*. ;)  )
