Bones Reds : Bearing Review

Well, I got a free set of Bones Reds bearing from Rupert Rage Skate Supply  for me to test out. The first thing I noticed was they were not packed in any fancy tin or such. Just plain old cardboard. This shows that the pricing is on the bearing it self and not the packaging.

I got curious and pried the rubber bearing seal open. The ball cage is a white nylon crown. This ensures that the bearing is capable of higher RPMs. The polishing is so fine that it looks like a mirror. I can see my own face on the balls. It came prelubricated with Bones Speed Cream  so it’s ready to go right out of the box.

A picture of the bearing it self
I rode them yesterday and it was like I was floating around the skatepark. No noise whatsoever from the bearing. These bearings are like frictionless. They are really is a step above the ordinary but the pricing is still low. The packaging came with a free REDS  sticker and detailed cleaning instruction. There were two downside however, one they didn’t came with spacers and two the sealing is not that good. The dust can just fly right to the balls it self. No inner ring step was present. All in all, these bearings are really good for the price although I got it for free. Thanking Rupert Rage  for sending me this bearings and George Powell for making these bearings. Now the next thing I wanna review is some Bones Skate Park Formula (SPF ) in 62mm. Can anybody send me some? Can you Rupert Rage  send me some?
